The North and West Metropolitan region offers palliative care to patients and families in the community, in designated inpatient units and in the acute setting. We are always looking for motivated, compassionate and creative interdisciplinary professionals with medical, nursing, social work and allied health backgrounds to join our teams. We also accept people wishing to work as volunteers in the palliative environment.

A new and exciting position has been created focussed on coordination of referrals and assessment visits for Mercy Palliative Care’s busy community program. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Division 1 Registered Nurse to implement this position in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team with the aim of improving management of the referrals across the 7 local government areas of the Western Region of Metropolitan Melbourne
