The "Who Am I?" Education Package
A SPIRITUALITY RESOURCE
DEVELOPED BY THE SPIRITUALITY COMMITTEE OF THE NORTH AND WEST
METROPOLITAN REGION PALLIATIVE CARE CONSORTIUM
The North and West Metropolitan Region Palliative Care Consortium Spirituality Committee developed the "Who Am I?" Spirituality Resource in 2009 to assist clinicians in having conversations with patients about spiritual issues.
In order to assist organisations in implementing the use of the "Who Am I?" resource, an education package has been developed and was launched on March 22nd 2010 in Melbourne, Australia.
The education package comprises:
- 5 copies of the "Who Am I?" A4 template in multi use laminate
- A CD containing powerpoint presentations, pdf versions of Black and White "Who Am I?" worksheets, pdf of "Capturing the Conversation" recording sheet, pdf Evaluation sheet
- DVD containing a filmed tutorial, "Running a successful roleplay" and a filmed roleplay demonstrating the use of the "Who Am I?" Spirituality Resource.
The Spirituality Committee who developed both the resource and the education package is made up of senior nurse clinicians, spiritual care workers, academics and allied care professionals all extremely experienced in palliative care and spirituality.
